Step back into the World War II era and meet Rosie the Riveter, the iconic symbol of the millions of women who stepped forward to serve and support the nation during wartime.

During this special program, visitors can meet Rosie aboard the ship and learn about the important role women played in building, maintaining, and supporting vessels like the Mackinaw throughout her years of service. Discover stories of determination, teamwork, and the vital contributions women made both on the home front and at sea.

Bring your questions, take photos with Rosie, and celebrate the hardworking women who helped keep the fleet moving.
