We’re OPEN Sunday, October 25th, for one final day aboard the Icebreaker Mackinaw!
Our new fall hours begin: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, with the last admission at 3:00 PM.
We want you to have a safe and enjoyable visit aboard this historic Great Lakes icebreaker.
Tour Time: Please allow a minimum of 60 minutes to explore the ship.
Facilities: The ship does not have running water or permanent restroom facilities. Portable restrooms are available on the dock.
Accessibility: Due to the ship’s historic design, accessibility is limited. The tour includes steep ladders, narrow passageways, uneven surfaces, and open exterior decks.
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended for your safety.
Bags & Beverages: Please do not bring large bags, oversized purses, food, or beverages aboard.
Pets are not permitted aboard the ship due to the challenges of navigating multiple decks and steep ladders.
Service Dogs: ADA-recognized service dogs are welcome. Please note that the steel decks can become extremely hot during sunny weather. Standard museum admission applies to the handler.
